Kristianne Aberer

Kristianne Aberer began playing soccer at age 7 because she saw the cool uniform her 5 year-old brother was trying on at sign-up night, and she had to have one too! She could barely kick the ball 2 feet that season and her team didn’t win many games, but the seed was planted and a love for soccer started growing.

She could barely kick the ball 2 feet that season and her team didn’t win many games, but the seed was planted and a love for soccer started growing.  After playing 4 years of recreational soccer in Anaheim Hills she moved up to the club level. Following a move to Oregon she continued playing club soccer for T-T-S United (1992, 93, 94) and Portland City United (95, 96) until graduating from high school.  Kristianne was a three year letterman in varsity soccer at Tigard High School. She played college soccer for 1 year at CSU Chico.

Coaching Philosophy:

As a Junior Academy coach my goal is to run fun practices that enable the kids to touch and move the ball with their feet as much as possible.

I want kids to be able to learn the fundamentals of soccer in a low pressure setting. I believe the focus of Junior Academy is to provide a fun learning environment where kids can enjoy playing soccer, succeed in learning new skills, cultivate many friendships and get some good exercise!
